摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To switch a separately excited regenerative brake circuit mere by opening or closing a breaker when switching the brake circuit from parallel connection to series-parallel connection by a resistor and a rectifier or the like by dividing a plurality of motors into two groups. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a plurality of motors 3a, 3b and 3c, 3d connected in series, a resistor 5, diodes 7, 8, and a breaker 9. In case that the breaker 9 is opened, when the field windings 4a-4d of the motors are excited, voltage is applied to the respective armatures. Regenerative current will flow through the circuit of the resistor 4, rectifier 7, armature 3a, 3b, breaker 2 and pantograph 1 of the armatures 3a, 3b. Regenerative current will also flow through the circuit of the armatures 3d, 3c, resistor 5, rectifier 8, breader 2 and pantograph 1 of the armatures 3c, 3d. When the breaker 9 is closed, the armature 3d is grounded, and the armatures 3c, 3b, 3a and pantograph 1 are sequentially connected in this order to thus switch the brake circut.</p>
