PURPOSE:To prevent an automatic operation unit from malfunctioning owing to a restart by a status holding function, by allowing the automatic operation unit to memorize the stopping status of a computer system. CONSTITUTION:At the time preset by an operator or when computer system 1 recognizes the end of a calculation process, the status at that time is all stored in its own magnetic disc unit. Then, system 1 informs automatic operation unit 2 that a system check point has been held and also requests power sequencer 3 to power OFF the system. In this case, if a power supply to system 1 is cut off, unit 2 holds information that the check point has been stored correctly. Through operations of supervisory unit 4 and remote controller 5, sequencer 3 is controlled to allow unit 2 memorize the abovementioned check point even when the power supply is cut off, so that a rerun of the automatic operation can be done without malfunction. |
