Rubber padded vehicle track - has side grips bolted on to engage profile tread, with moulded pads fitted outside bars

The vehicle track is supported by a series of metal bars (12) with narrow central sections (12a) and wider end pads to which the link joints are bolted. The pads (5) comprise elastomer moulding fitted to the outsides of the bars. The track is fitted over profiled wheel treads on the utility vehicle. The track has a soft outer surface so that it does not damage the ground, e.g. tree roots when used in forestry.
