The use of Lepelletier reversible thermal elements enables one of two adjacent enclosures to be heated while the other can be refrigerated. This allows products requiring the different temperature conditions to be transported economically. A refrigerated chamber (2) is separated from a second chamber (5) by a sealing wall. An air circulating skin (3) covers a refrigeration accumulator mass (4). A cover (7) supports a reversible thermal element (9) which refrigerates the chamber via its radiator (10). This element is enclosed by a cover (12) with airways adjacent to which is a ventilating fan (13) with a set of blades (14) in the refrigerated chamber. A lid in the cover (12) over the second chamber provides additional storage area (15). The thermal element is powered via a plug (17) on the handle (16) and by inverting the position of the element the second chamber (5) can be heated.
