The control unit is intended for a variable pump or motor. It comprises a pump-positioning servo piston (12) in a cylinder (15) and acting against a re-set force (14, 25), a slide valve (31) with actuating rod (20) which, in one position, connects the servo pressure chamber (15) to pump pressure (44), in another position to a drain and in the mid-position holds it closed. The slide valve bore is arranged inside the servo piston. The rod (20) and slide (31) form an integral unit. The slide valve bore in arranged in a bush (32) which fits with clearance in a bore of the piston (12) which is part of the chamber (15), the bush being located in the piston (12) by a spring. |
