PURPOSE:To prevent waste of film by prohibiting shutter release while in-focus signal is not given, by releasing the shutter with the AND output of range measuring signal and timer signal. CONSTITUTION:An in-focus signal according to the output of a phtometric element 23 of a range measuring circuit A is inputted into an AND gate D255. A timer circuit composed of capacitor 52 starts to operate. The delay time of the timer circuit is a duration sufficient to allow the mechanism of the range finder to be stabilized. When the output of the AND gate 55 becomes high level, a transistor 57 becomes ON, and a charge collected in a capacitor 59 flows into a magnet Mg1 to unlock the detent level, so that the shutter is released. Since the shutter is released by the range measuring completion signal from the automatic focus adjusting device and the timer signal, failure in focal adjustment may be prevented. |
