PURPOSE:To obtain a good property of exhaust gas, in a control valve for a recirculating system of exhaust gas for a Diesel engine, by means of enabling to keep the opening degree of the valve and EGR rate almost at a linear proportional relation. CONSTITUTION:This valve device includes a pipe 20 composing a housing which is connected to a manifold of absorbing air 12, and this piping 20 is connected to a manifold of exhaust gas 14 via a EGR path 21. A valve axis rotated via a rod 30 and a lever 28 by an actuator not shown in the drawings, is provided in the pipe 20, thereby a valve plate 24 on which a projection 34 is set up on the upper surface in this valve axis 26, is allowed to be supported on one side. This projection 34 forms as that the increasing property of the cross section of a flow path against the opening theta of the valve panel 24 into a becoming to a gradual shape as shown in the drawing II3, thereby the changing property of EGR rate can be a preferable one which is coincided with an almost ideal straight line at the low opening side. |
