<p>A brace includes an elastic section carrying a heat-deformable rigid back support, and a removable front panel adjustably connected to the section ends and contoured to fit the abdomen. The section and panel are pref. connected by hook and loop pile elements. The support is pref. a plastic sheet which may have a fabric layer on both sides or a foam layer on the side facing the body, and the sheet may be removably received in a pocket in the section.</p> |
