摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To accurately guide a missile to a target by employing two systems of seeker sections which have a substantially different reception characteristic from each other, and guiding the missile with signal processing sections connected to the seekers switched to suit the situation. CONSTITUTION:Based on the input signal from a first signal processing section 2a or a second signal processing section 2b, the guidance control section 3 outputs the guiding signal for a missile 10 to close in on a target 11 by proportional navigation. That is, where a radio wave active seeker system is used for one of the seeker systems and an optical seeker system for another, the output of the signal processing section of the radio wave active seeker system is fed to the guidance control section 3 so as to guide the missile 10 to the target in a case where the distance between the missile 10 and the target 11 is so great that the target signal intensity of the radio wave active seeker system is stronger than that of the optical seeker system. As the distance between the missile 10 and the target 11 is narrowed, the target signal intensity of the optical seeker system also becomes stronger than the criterion stored in a memory device, whereupon the output from a signal processing section of a seeker system which is receiving more accurate signal than the other is fed to the guidance control section 3 to guide the missile 10 to the target.</p>
