The drive is fitted to a standard builder's wheelbarrow or tipping barrow, with one or two wheels, motorised or pushed manually. It comprises detachable extra wheels at the front and rear. These are adjustable for position. When climbing steps or stairs, the front wheel is removed and the rear used for supporting the rear of the barrow as it negotiates the steps. When descending, the rear wheel is removed and the front is similarly used.
