<p>Process for obtaining a decorative pattern on a glass surface comprises (1) rubbing the surface with abrasive paper, (2) applying a 50/50 polyurethane/catalyst paint and drying for 24 hrs., (3) applying a nitrocellulose white coating and drying for 4 hrs., (4) applying a crackling lacquer which is then dried for 4 hrs., (5) applying a satin cellulose varnish and drying for 2 hrs. and (6) patina treatment with Jew's pitch or burnt umber.</p> |
