A simplified mounting bracket for a warning triangle is fitted in the boot of a car. a spring load slider (3) presses down onto the apex of the flat triangle to press the base against a support ledge. The triangle is held flat against the inside wall of the boot without rattling. The fitting is simple and rapid. No securing screws are required and the spring grips the top of the triangle to prevent it rattling in any direction.
