<p>The frame, is made for enclosing a cutout to be made in the course of erection of a building wall or ceiling. It is designed to hold a window, door, ventilation duct or service duct. The frame incorporates a number of rectangular frame elements, made of metal or other wear-resistant material according to the cutout dimensions, set one behind the other in the peripheral directions. These are detachably but firmly interconnected to make up a rigid unit, in such a way that they are mutually displaceable in the detached condition. They may comprise basic and compensating elements. This permits easy handling, and constant reuse of the frame, and adaptability to cutouts of varying size.</p> |
