The extracting circuit includes a video camera (10), an analog to digital converter (20) converting video signals to images having gray level, a BCD circuit (30), an image memory (40), an image processor (50) expressing a boundary of objects, a host computer (60) which can recognize objects, a window detector (41) obtaining the window of picture, a storage circuit (42) of the chain code, a clock generator (43) and a generator of address (45). The extracting circuit is concerned with an image processor of 2-dimension. The image processor can extract boundaries and characteristics of objects. And it is composed of the hardware operated by the chain-coding.
