<p>The glass pane (2) for a glazed door is sandwiched between two blocks (4, 6) which are mounted between rails (16, 18) by means of screws (20). A pile sealing strip (34) is held in grooves (32) at the bottoms of the rails. The top flanges of the rails are formed with a longitudinal groove (62). A pair of cover plates (42) have a shallow channel cross-section, and have a shaped block (46) bonded to the inside corners by means of double sided sticky tape (43, 44). A seal (58) is fitted in a slot at the side of the block to bear against the glass. A groove (50, 52) is formed in the facing sides of the blocks to match the grooves in the rails. The cover plates can thus be secured in position by the insertion of a flexible rod (64) or tube (66).</p> |
