<p>Device is for fixing mass transfer trays inside column shells for rectification, absorption or extn. The tray is attached by the device to support rings in the column. The device consists of a two pronged clamp, the lower fork of which fits through a slot in the tray. The upper fork extends over the edge of the tray and is held in position by a wedge. The clamp has an inclined inner edge where it fits through the tray. It has a vertical edge between the two prongs which fits against the ring on the column. Used for fixing trays and tray sections into mass transfer column. Provides a reliable and simple method for mounting trays which can be quickly dismantled.</p> |
