The conveyor system for pans (19), has side frame members (12) with pairs of flanged rollers (17) mounted opposite each other on the inside faces of the frame. The pan sits on the smaller diameter and is guided by the flanges. A longitudinal shaft (31) is driven continuously by a motor (32) through a belt, and a supports a number of sleeves (41). Each sleeve has five integral conical projections (37) arranged to contact the edges of the rollers on one side, when it is slid along the shaft by a shifting device (42). A set of rollers are thus driven by friction, allowing accumulation of pans. |
