The security lock for the car bonnet has the release handle locked by a blocking lever (39) linked to the door opening. This prevents operation of the release lever (22) until the car door is open. The thief cannot simply break the car windows to reach the bonnet release. With additional security locks on the car door it becomes extremely difficult to force the bonnet lock.
