The foldable universal measuring instrument comprises a part (1) for the display of the results and a part (2) for the processing of the parameters to be measured. The casings (1a), (2a) of both parts (1), (2) have a quadrangular shape. Along two edges of the casings (1a), (2a), two cylindrical extensions (1b), (2b), (2c) provide for the hinged connection of the two casings, thereby increasing the effective inner volume of the casing. When the instrument is in a folded position, the cylindrical extensions are not visible. An electromechanical measuring (3a) with a measuring needle (3b) is incorporated in the cylindrical extension of the display part (1), while the measuring case takes the major part of the casing (1a) of the display part (1). On the upper portion of the processing part (2) are arranged a switch (5a) for the different measuring ranges and a switch (11). |
