The double window is designed to absorb radiated energy, for supply of heat (13) to an interviewing space (12), which can be ventilated. There are one or more air intake and outlet openings, to and from the interior. Absorption is achieved by a unit which is partially radiant energy absorbent and partially translucent, involving generation by coating (14) or colouring a glass pane or foil sheet. It may also function as a sun screen, and become darkened in dependence on intensity of radiation. This is simple, and has no serious view obstructing or darkening effect.
