PURPOSE:A lubricating oil capable of showing the necessary lubricating action for a long time even in the on-off operation of the contact, comprising (A) a base oil consisting of squaliane, (B) an N-oleyl-alkylglycine and (C) an S-substituted dithiocarbamate. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating oil comprising (A) 100 parts by wt. of a base oil consisting of squalane, (B) 0.1-6 parts by wt. of an N-oleyl-alkylglycine or its salt, and (C) 0.1-5 parts by wt. of an S-substituted dithiocarbamate. Zinc dithiocarbamate may be cited as (C). About 0.1-1 part by wt. of an antioxidant, e.g. P-tert-butylcatechol, is incorporated to improve the oxidation and heat resistance. |
