<p>FOAM EXPANSION MONITOR An apparatus is used for monitoring the volumetric changes of expanding resin masses. The apparatus includes in combination a supporting stand, a statically balanced pulley and a means for connecting a contact plate with a friction-free electronic transducer and a balancing counterweight. In its operation, the apparatus transforms volumetric changes of an expanding resin mass into corresponding vertical movements of a friction-free electronic transducer by means of transmitting the movements of a contact plate touching the surface of such resin mass to said electronic transducer.</p> |
