PURPOSE:To attain high-density recording in a visual and infrared range by low energy by adding an lower oxide of Tl, Bi or In to a principal component, a lower oxide of Te. CONSTITUTION:Into powder of TeO2, more than one kind of oxides among Tl2O3, BiO3 and InO3 are mixed and dissolved in the air to obtain a mixed solid solution. The powder of this solid solution is fused in a metallic boat, where it is evaporated being reduced, thereby vapor-depositing it on a substrate (synthetic resin sheet, etc.). Consequently, a thin plate is formed which contains (y)mol% (0<Y<30) of more than one of TeOX1 (0<X1<20), TlOX2 (0<X2<1.5), BiOx3 (0<X3<1.5), and InOx4 (0<X4<1.5). In this way, recording is attained by He-Ne laser light of less than 50mJ/cm<3> in energy density. A difference in permeability and that in reflection coefficient during regeneration are increased. |
