PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a wrist watch by using a C-shaped spring member in place of a screw for holding a liquid crystal cell. CONSTITUTION:A C-shaped spring member 3 holds a laminated assembly, which is composed of a liquid crystal cell 4, a supporting frame 5, a circuit substrate 6 and a battery holding member 7, such that the spring member 3 has its one ends 3a and 3b engaging with the projections 5a and 5b of the supporting frame 5. The spring member has its other end formed with a stop hole 3c which engages with the stop pin 7a of the holding member 7. As a result, the spring member 3 is free from disengagement from the watch module even if is receives shocks. Since, moreover, the space occupied by the spring member 3 is restricted, it is possible to assemble the watch module in a compact form. |
