PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of discharging characteristic and the production of gas, by employing a cathod layer composed of a liquid absorving film laminated with cathode active material thereby determining the amount of cathode active material. CONSTITUTION:Pressure integrated anode agent 7 mainly composed of silver oxcide is inserted together with a portion of electrolyte into anode can 5, then a cathode layer 10 contained in the cathode terminalboard 10 is mounted through polypropylene protective film 8 and ion permeable film 9. Then a circular gasket 12 is placed between said terminalboard 19 and anode can 5, and the open end 13 of said anode can 5 is bent inwardly and sealed to form a button type cell. The cathode layer 10 of said cell is formed by laminating predetermined number of films 4 obtained by coating cathode agent 2 such as amalgam Zn powder on a liquid absorving film 1 such as rayon cloth. Then the cathode layer 10 is filled in the cathode terminalboard 10 such that the liquid absorving film 1 is located at the side of anode agent 7. |
