<p>PURPOSE:To cool fluid by causing it to adiabatically expand by providing outer cylinder concentrically with a fluid exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION:In the inside of the outer cylinder 1, the front-facing small-diameter cap 4 lying concentrically with the outer cylinder 1 and having a little clearance between it and the outer cylinder 1 and the front- or rear-facing large-diameter cap 5 having no clearance between it and the outer cylinder 1 or the partition plate 5' are arranged in the axial direction at s little spacing. When an enriched portion of exhaust gas is reflected at the rear end inner wall of the cap 4 and concentrated on the neighbohood of the rear end 2a of the exhaust pipe 2 by phase inversion, successive phases or interfered fluid is exhausted from the rear end 2a of the exhaust pipe 2 and jointed to interfere with each other and at the same time the fluid expands adiabatically, whereby the temperature is remarkably lowered and at the same time noise with fluid is eliminated.</p> |
