Individual cloche for strawberry plant - has two part dish to raise fruit off ground and mesh cover for protection purposes

The cloche fits around each individual strawberry plant and comprises a dish, normally circular, split across the dia. to form two parts (3, 4). These are placed together around the plant, a central hole (5) allowing the plant stem (1) to pass through. The dish inclines upwards (7) to its highest point and then steeply down (8) to its periphery, the fruit being supported and raised off the ground. A cover (15) is placed over this dish, fitting around the periphery at its highest point, provided with side and top panels (14, 16) of mesh for protection and aeration.
