<p>The unprinted material is fed to the pleating station together with a web of paper at least under the material, so that they are bonded together. The thermo-pressure transfer paper is then applied to the upper side the whole package is subjected to heat and pressure so that the pattern is transferred to the fabric. A paper supporting web is used which is wider than the material to be printed and the side strip zones of the material are not bonded to the paper underlay. The process applies a pattern to the material, in a trouble-free method, which is resistant to washing and cleaning actions.</p> |
