The additional mechanism is for milling around workpieces, and is added to a profile miller for formation of curves in profile parts, the unit comprising a table milling machine with a profile tool and an advance ring coaxial to the cutter spindle. An auxiliary table (27) is guided on the main table guide bridge (29) by means of pins (33), and a thrust rod (16) is connected to a displaceable toothed bar (28). This latter bar works in conjunction with a gearwheel (35) of a rotary table (36) located in the auxiliary table (27) and on which the template (41) and the workpiece are fixed.
