Pipe burst safety unit for hydraulic systems - has back pressure valves in passage between control and cylinder connection

The safety unit is located between a hydraulic control unit, and a working cylinder in the feed pipe to a cylinder working chamber. A back pressure valve arrangement is located in the passage through the unit, between the control connection and the cylinder connection. The valve arrangement is raised in the opening direction by a servo pressure, coming via a pipe from a servo-controlled source. The source supplies a servo pressure, when a lowering movement occurs, to the hydraulic control unit, to compare it with a pressure in a hydraulic connection pipe.
