The unit has a transmitter and a receiver for esp. IR modulated in the remote control unit by a control signal generated in it. The modulator consists of a reflecting surface movable by control signals through an electromechanical transducer, and of an unchangeable reflecting surface. The modulator consists of one single unchangeable reflecting surface (14) and of an electro-optical modulator (15) in its light path, also unchangeable in shape. Its optical properties are changed by the control signals.
