The fifth-wheel kingpin arrangement has a counter plate (2) and a king pin (1) which can be replaced from below. A bushing (3) with interior (6) in the shape of a truncated cone is welded (12) onto the upper surface of the counter plate (2), into which interior (6) the upper part of the kingpin (1), which is of complementary construction, is screwed in such a way that a form fit is produced. The screws (7) pass through threadless holes in a flange (4) of the kingpin (1) and engage in threaded holes in the wall of the bushing. Between the threadless holes, the flange has threaded holes which serve, by means of the screws which press onto the wall of the bushing, to press the kingpin out of its clamped state. The arrangement can be loaded to a high degree and has a low overall height. <IMAGE>
