The electronic system adjusts the injection timing in a combustion engine. It comprises a bi-stable stage triggered synchronously with crankshaft rotation and has two outputs feeding into two alternatingly energised sawtooth wave generators. The two generator outputs connect into the inputs of a differential amplifier whose output is fed to a monostable stage via a differentiating circuit. The stage may be triggered by a switch operated by a cam on the crankshaft. The circuit may comprise an input amplifier stage.
