Grinder for hard metal tipped twist drills - sharpens number of drills in one setting at correct tip angle and clearance angle

The twist drills (14) are mounted on a support (11) at an angle which corresponds to the tip angle of the drill. The support (11) can be moved parallel and at right angles to the plane of the grinding wheel. The support carries a cross slide (10) which is moved past the grinding wheel (26, 28) after which it is removed rotated over 180 deg. and again moved over the support past the grinding wheels. As the face of the grinding wheel is at an angle, both tip cutting angle and clearance angle are ground in one setting.
