PURPOSE:To prevent steering shafts from engaging at random due to incorrect key removal during running by mounting a means to hold the release state of the steering shafts during operation. CONSTITUTION:In the locked steering shaft A whose key is removed, since the hanger 3 and the locking rod 5 are pushed by way of the coil spring 12, it is locked up by the locking rod 5. In the operated steering shaft A whose key is inserted, the hanger 3 and the rod 5 are pulled up by the actuation of the cam 8, it is unlocked. On the other hand, the revolving locking plate 9 starts its revolution by detecting the moving state of wheels as soon as they are ready to move and is pushed in the groove 8a. This permits the release state of the steering shaft to be held during operation. |
