<p>The single axled agricultural trailer has its wheels steered by a transverse steering rod (12) which is linked to a steering bar (9) driven by a cable drive. The other end of the cable is looped over a control wheel (5) on the drawbar coupling so that the wheels turn in the opposite direction to the drawbar. The system enables the trailer to be towed in confined spaces, such as a long crop rows. The trailer tracks more accurately behind the tractor so that it does not drag into corners.</p> |
