<p>Plastics processing equipment is fed with preheated material by a revolving tube with heater, inlet and outlet, the material being passed along the tube by a screw. Specifically a heated revolving tube has an inlet tube passing through one end and an outlet tube through the other leading to e.g. an extruder. The main tube contains a conveyor spiral, plus a smaller dia. counterflow spiral for any excess material. Appts. is easily cleaned, accurate and gives constant temp. control and so allows only minimal thermal degradation. Appts. is suitable for powders or granulates.</p> |
