<p>The animal holding container consists of a trough contg. a particulate substance and receiving animal droppings. The trough outlet is sufficiently small to prevent the passage of the particulate substance but sufficiently large to allow the escape of liquid. A removable, separating element in the trough dips into the particulate substance. It has a separation hole sufficiently large to allow the passge of the particulate substance and sufficiently small to prevent the passage of solid excrement picked up by the substance. Consequently on removing the separating element the solid excrement is also removed.</p> |
