<p>The load control is intended for an Otto engine (7) in which at least one cylinder (4-6) is switched-off when the engine runs under partial load by interrupting the fuel supply. Whilst switched-off, these cylinders (4-6) receive exhaust gas from at least one of the operating cylinders (1-3). When switched-off, these cylinders (4-6) may, alternatively, receive exhaust gas from at least one of the cylinders (1-3) mixed with fuel mixture or air at a predetermined temp. The exhaust gas supply to the cylinders (4-6) may be controlled by a switch-over valve (13) connecting the exhaust manifold (16) of the cylinders (1-3) to the inlets (10) of the cylinders (4-6).</p> |
