The automatic drain valve is for the mixture of condensate and oil accumulating in the receiver etc. of a compressed-air systems. A chamber (8) connects the inlet (5) and outlet (6) and contains valve plugs (30, 40), mounted on separate pistons (3, 4), shutting them off. The forward ends (17, 15) of the cylinders contg. the pistons are connected to each other and to a further inlet (14). The rear end (11) of one cylinder is connected to the chamber and to a discharge port (13), the valve plug (33) of which is mounted on the piston (3) of the other cylinder. Compression springs (9, 9') in the rear end (18) of the latter act on this piston.
