The plastic pivot fitting (4) for a windscreen wiper comprises a cylindrical element with a bore (3) into which fits the axle of the wiper arm (2). The axle is of constant section and the bore is provided with grooves (7) disposed symmetrically around the periphery and filled with lubricant. The grooves are blind (14) at one end of the bore, whilst at the wiper arm end the lubricant is kept in by a ring (12) which is either placed in a housing in the pivot fitting or engaged in a groove in the wiper axle. |
