PURPOSE:To form a compact infrared-ray gas analyzer capable of measuring even low density, by arranging a light source, detector, rotary sector, and sample cell with a reflecting member in series. CONSTITUTION:Light source 1, detecting element 9, detector 4 which has infrared- ray penetration windows R1 and R2 and is charged with measured gas, rotary sector 2 which has a high infrared-ray reflectivity surface at the light-source side, and sample cell 3 which has infrared-ray penetration window R3 and has an internal surface high in infrared-ray reflectivity are arranged in sequence. By way of conduits Z1 and Z2, sample gas including measured gas is flowed into cell 3 and while sector 2 is being rotated, detecor 4 measured reference reflected beam I1 reflected by sector 2 and measurement reflected beam I2 returning after reflected by sell 3 (going to and backing in the cell). Next, the measured-gas density in the sample gas is calculated by using the Lambert's law in a normal method. |
