PURPOSE:To prevent toner deposited carrier from depositing on the latent image erased part, by varying the quantity of light to erase the electrostatic latent image depending on the original. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 is rotated and driven by a driving motor, and is uniformly charged by a charging device 2, and the original image is exposed by an exposure device, so that an electrostatic latent image may be formed. This electrostatic latent image is transferred by means of a transfer device 4. This transfer paper is, after fixing of the image, discharged out of the machine as a copy, and the photosensitive drum 1 is destaticized by a destaticizer 5, and is cleaned by a cleaning device 6 to be re-used. In a developing device 3, a bias is applied to the developing electrode from a power source curcuit 7, which is varied, for instance, progressively depending on the concentration of the originl image through manual operation by the operator. |
