PURPOSE:To record first and second images in a simple device, by optimizing the voltage when driving so as to obtain secure second electrostatic latent image forming, and further optimizing the voltage when not driving so as not to break the first electrostatic latent image. CONSTITUTION:When a recording medium 1 which is uniformly charged by a corotron 2 passes through an optical image radiating part 3, it is selectively exposed depending on the image of the original to be copied, and the first electrostatic latent image is formed. Next, when the exposed part A of the recording medium 1 reaches the opint just beneath a pin electrode 4, a driving pulse voltage is applied to the pin electrode 4 from a driver 5. Then, the second electrostatic latent image is locally written into the exposed part A in the first electrostatic latent image. |
