A photographic light-sensitive material comprising a layer which contains a compound represented by the following Formula I wherein R1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, R2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms with a proviso that when R2 is a hydrogen atom, R1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 7 carbon atoms, M is a cation and n is a number of 1 to 50.
