PURPOSE:To enable a heat-sensible recording material to minimize coloring by pressure by processing it in such a manner at to add long chain glycol into a heat- sensing coloring layer containing leuce pigment and acidic substance. CONSTITUTION:The heat-sensible recording material is obtained by providing a heat-sensing layer, containing such substances as colorless or plain color leuco pigment expressed by Formula I(Rx, Ry and Rz are H, OH, halogen, alkyl, nitro, amino and aril, etc.), organic acid making the leuco pigment generate color by being heated (boracic acid, oxalic acid and benzoic acid, etc). and phenolic substance (3,5-xylenol and thymol, etc.), with such a high-grade direct chain glycol as expressed by Formula II (R is alkyl of C numbered 10-30) and allowing this heat-sensible coloring layer to be formed on a supporting body. |
