PURPOSE:A water-soluble metal working oil having improved viscosity stability, stability of aqueous liquid, and pressing performance, comprising a pasty water- soluble emulsion metal working oil and a synthetic mica swelling in water or its mixture with polybutene. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble emulsion metal working oil is incorporated with 0.1-8.0wt% of a synthetic mica swelling in water or its mixture with 5-30wt% of polybutene having an average molecular weight of 750-2350. The synthetic mica of the formula has the same crystal structure as the natural one, wherein the water of crystallization is substituted by fluorine. The mica is easily swollen in water to form an anion sol. EFFECT:A high viscosity of 1-4cps at 30-50 deg.C and improved viscosity stability at a storage temperature of 30-50 deg.C.
