PURPOSE:To provide continuous manufacturability for electrode plates having tabs in certain positions by forming a strip-shaped base board lattice part and a flat part as substitute for strip-shaped tab in such as way as in a single piece, punching off an upper time of lattice part and a tab protruding therefrom from the mentioned flat part as substitute for strip-shaped tab, and by punching off an electrode plate body in specified form leading to the upper frame via a certain width from the strip-shaped lattice part. CONSTITUTION:An upper frame of an electrode plate lattice part and a tab protruding therefrom are formed by means of punching. Each strip-shaped base board 1 has a large width consisting of the width of a strip-shaped base board lattice part 1a to which a flat part as substitute for strip-shaped tab consolidated therewith is added. Accordingly even though traction is made under the pressure filling and coating process by an active substance filling machine, the anti-ductility property becomes large, and there is little elongation to prevent the lattice from deforming and the active substance from slipping off. Thereafter a lattice part upper flame P1 and tab P2 are formed by trimming at the mentioned flat part 1b of the corresponding active substance filling strip-shaped base board 1, i.e. a strip-shaped electrode plate 1'. Thus electrode plates in the specified shape having tabs P2 in specified positions can be manufactured continuously regardless of eventual elongation of the strip-shaped base board 1 generated by traction. |
