PURPOSE:In case of brazing an Al alloy containing sodium metasilicate by using a weakly acidic flux, to improve the anticorrosion characteristic of brazed parts by means of a flux removing agent. CONSTITUTION:A solution of pH 8 to 10.5 containing 0.005 to 0.1% of sodium metasilicate is used as a flux removing agent for removing a weakly acidic flux for brazing. After usage, washing is made for over 30 minutes at more than 60 deg.C. |
