PURPOSE:To obtain an image having good color reproducibility and to obtain a toner resin stable in positive charging and good in compatibility with other resins and dispersibility of dyes and pigments by using a specified binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin to be used is an amine-modified epoxy resin obtained by introducing a primary amine, and the introduction of amine can be made generally by adding the primary amine to a bisphenol A-type epoxy resin, and at that time, bisphenol A can be allowed to exist, and it is preferred to disperse the amine uniformly into the resin, and accordingly, the primary amine and the bisphenol A are subjected to additional polymerization to the bisphenol A type epoxy resin lower in molecular weight, thus permitting the image obtained by using this binder resin toner to be superior in color reproducibility and the obtained toner resin to be stable in positive charging, and good in compatibility with other resin and dispersibility of dyes and pigments. |
